Keene Little, CMT
Keene has been a full-time trader since 2000. In 2003, he became an analyst/writer for the Option Investor newsletter posting daily live commentary throughout the trading day and sharing nightly market wrap duties with the site's other analysts. In 2009 he began posting free nightly market analysis on his own blog, Capital Market Vision (CMV), which developed an international following.
Keene's CMV blog morphed into a subscription website to fill the gap offering daily live market commentary and analysis plus a nightly market overview and analysis. Keene also continues as a weekly analyst/writer for the Options Investor Newsletter. Keene decided to further his own knowledge as a technical analyst and earned his Chartered Market Technician (CMT) certification in 2008 from the Market Technicians Association.
Before turning his attention to the financial industry, he spent 18 years with four companies in the semiconductor industry rising to senior management positions including Vice President of Operations for a medium-sized semiconductor equipment manufacturing company.
Prior to his business career, Keene spent seven years on active duty as a U.S. Naval aviator flying jets off aircraft carriers. He completed 20 years of military service in the Naval Reserves retiring with the rank of Commander. He graduated with honors from the United States Merchant Marine Academy with a BS in engineering with a math minor, as well as a license to sail as a 3rd engineer on merchant ships and a commission as an Ensign in the U.S. Navy.
In his spare time, Keene builds and flies light sport aircraft. He also enjoys skiing, hiking, riding Harleys, and woodworking.
